Bill “Papa” Lee Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Utah's got everything. Forests, lakes, deserts, mountains... I love it here. No better place for skiing, camping, hiking, boating, all in the same state. Heck, you can do all those on the same day if you want, haha! Same here, just less snow.
thesometimesaint Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 My home is in a lush green foothills valley, looks out into 12,000 ft mountains, and am a couple of hours from the desert, and the ocean.

Close enough for government work, as they say. But lush green foothills? Maybe for two months in the spring. The real reason it's called the Golden State is because of how it looks from about June 1st until the first rains in October/November.
