Non-Lds, How Do You Know?

I want you to know, diglot, that I blame you if I fall asleep on my parents tonight....so much for my nap. I have no control when a good conversation is going, especially when it seems the other is practically aching to understanding. I want to ease their pain too much. :)

I appreciate your tone- it is so far above what we are used to here that it takes some getting used to!! ;)

Isn't that the truth. Last time I went into that much detail about this issue concluding that I could even accept that the Lord might lead someone out of the LDS faith because there was a better way for them to learn of him due to their unique circumstances, I was accused of lying and subjected to a long rant about how all I cared about was looking like I was oh so tolerant when in reality I was as twisted and bigoted as the rest of my kind.....from someone who was always spouting examples of how accepting and kind and generous and tolerant and open to others' belief she herself was. It was the Twilight Zone....only in full daylight.

The only good thing about those kinds of experiences is how much more enjoyable it makes conversations like we've had here, something to treasure.
