Where in Revelation?

Sorry about the erroneous "REP" click.

You already know it. Hint: When was John worshiping?

Sunday isn't the Sabbath.

While I am aware that the 'Sabbath' may be Friday, Saturday or Sunday, depending on what part of the world you are in and what religion you follow, I don't believe it was important to the topic of this thread and if you'd like to discuss it, it might be better to start a different one. Thanks.

As the Lord's Prophet, President Kimball stressed the need for the world to remember the commandment to honor the Sabbath day and keep it holy--

He said "That commandment has never been rescinded nor modified, it has been reinforced in modern times."

BYU Professor Craig Harline wrote a very interesting book on the history of the Sabbath:

After reading the book, it could be argued that our modern LDS understanding of the "sabbath" has more to do with recent protestant traditions than anything ancient. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but we should probably avoid any assumptions that ancient Christians followed the law the way we do.
