Uchtdorf made that crack in Gen Conference that someone might be texting during his talk about the absence of an aviation reference, the congregation laughed with him not at him because of the transparent humility and the absolute lack of pride and pretention he showed.In that spirit, I thought it might be fun to choose alternate avatars for ourselves that make light of our online personalities. Calm Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I like the last one the best.On my old board where I got to play Cosmic Mother, I was thinking about using one of those prehistoric mother goddess stone statues as my avatar, but I thought that might be just a little too explicit for some people.

Garden Girl Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I think people see me as being an elderly "foo-foo" type because I admit to being 70 years old with an "art spirit", and sensitive but not very intellectual, etc because I strongly tend to the TBM characteristics...Just because I talk to the plants in my garden, explaining what is going to happen before I ever start pruning, etc., run mumbling from tree to tree as I express my gratitude for their beauty, gaze into Bob's eyes (the cat) and find much of interest... They err...from the beach... GG

Garden Girl Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Hello Nathair...She's beautiful... maybe someday.I will say this... when I work in the garden, on my knees in the rich earth, I can see the wonder of how the plants were created to interact with various creatures. There is an orderliness to how everything has purpose as part of the whole... how bees gather the pollen, how birds find insects and grubs, how the squirrel finds the cone seeds... the list is endless. Not to mention the palette of color that bursts forth just at the proper time... the way the crocus return to bloom every spring, and the tulips, iris, and a myriad of other varieties... I love to look into the face of the pansies and see the design each petal adds to the pattern of color... each petal needed to complete the design. This is when I marvel at everything around me... this is when I am humbled... this is when I feel closest to Heavenly Father.GG
