No problems here getting into it the last few days. Are you accessing through an ISP or a filtering function that might be blocking it? Are you trying to get to it at work or at home?

I've been on it yesterday and today. Just checked again, and it works.

I guess it is just me, then I'll have to check my stuff! I can get on scriptures,lds.org and everything else just not the home page it opens up some weird page that says wiki cannot be found.

Can you attach a screen shot of your browser window, with the message in the display area and the URL in your address bar? I might be able to help.

Just try cleaning all your temp files, cookies, etc., close your browser, and even restart your computer.

That will likely fix things, unless you have some other issue.

Nah, both ways work... He tried both ways earlier. LDS Guy, did you ever fix this?

H.

I tried lds.org, www.LDS.org, and http://www.LDS.org they all go to the same wiki not found screen. I'm going to uninstall my browser and reinstall it when I get home if I still can't get LDS.org mainpage. I can still get in everything else just not the homepage.

If I were to venture he got a piece of malware that likes to play with the host file or some other DNS manipulation.

Some are particularly nasty in that they'll only redirect your sites once every X minutes so as to not arouse too much suspicion.

Perhaps a computer scan...

Yep, if cookie cleaning and a restart didn't fix things, then he's likley got malware.

A person shouldn't use the net unless they got a firewall with anti-virus and spyware protection.

I use AVG Internet Security for firewall and bug protection as well as SuperAntiSpyware for bug protection, both running.

I cleaned the cookies out and that worked fine!

Thanks for all the help, I just didn't know if this was a problem for others or not!
