MorningStar Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 We got a Wii for Christmas and we are loving Wii Fit Plus. Beating my kids' high scores is the best. My oldest son feels embarrassed that his mom keeps wasting him at tight rope walking, soccer head butting, juggling, aerobics, bike riding,and more. I better enjoy it while it lasts though because he has youth on his side. After enough practice, I'm sure I'm toast, although I got a perfect in advanced soccer.And supposedly, I lost 4 pounds. What are your favorite Wii games?

My kids always want me to play because I am the only on in the family that can do all the hard levels. Of course this only come from years of playing mario bros on all the other console systems. Libs Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I'm pretty good at Wii bowling. That's the only one I've actually played. I've watched the kids and grandkids play Guitar Hero. Last Christmas Eve they had a big contest playing that thing.

It rains the majority of the time here in the winter and it's hard to get a lot of exercise without joining a gym. I don't mind walks in the rain, but I don't like taking my 2-year-old out in it. Thanks for the game suggestions. We're having loads of fun and even my son says his jeans seem to fit better now.

There are many fun, non-painful ways to exercise beyond walking. Try juggling! A bit frustrating at first but when you start to get the hang of it, you can get a good workout while entertaining the kids
