Disappearing Query?

Hi All,

I missed the transfiguration of the old MA&D into MD&D and am just discovering it. (I like the name change.) Perhaps there are explanations posted somewhere regarding what happened to content posted after what's in "the library" and before what shows up in the current threads, but if so I don't see the explanations pinned.

I posted a query a few weeks back about Royal Skousen's idea that post-mortal spirits who had lived in the 16th century assisted in rendering the Book of Mormon into English, and would like to revisit the responses, but can't find that thread. How, if at all, do I access it? Finding it again would be helpful for the paper I'm finalizing.

Oooh..... :P

Unless one of the archivists tagged it for the cross-over, it may be gone.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, though.

I remember the thread and unless someone slipped something in there while I wasn't looking, there were no responses. I was paying attention as I was interested in it, the only information I have on it was a discussion I had with someone else on possible implications, but it was pure speculation with no research attached so wouldn't be of value for a paper. I would have saved it if there had been substantive comments, btw (I was one of the persons doing the archiving).

Can't speak to the issue about the thread (although I wish the mods could make a database dump of the old system available), but I think the new board should go by the name "Mormon D&D".

Nicely done, looks like Brant's was the only substantive answer with:

I haven't seen the idea of a committee in print. In print Skousen implies, but doesn't identify. One who does identify is:
