Just the first thought that comes to mind, Maybe out of the set of available intelligences, Elohim picked the most capable first and organized that one into the spirit known as YHWH/Christ. Sort of like how on the playground, you try to pick the best player first. Of course, I am assuming that intelligences are discrete entities that can be embodied in spirit bodies the way we understand that spirit bodies are embodied in our physical bodies. If I am wrong on that...

I might start answering this question by supposing that God created us all equal to the tasks and trials that would be set before us. In a physical/materialistic/environmental sense, it is for certain that God did not create us all equally.

Approach A: Let's take the approach that our prespirit intelligence has individual identity and consciousness. The question is how could such an entity have identity and consciousness. We can posit that 1) it has identity and consciousness by being a complex organism that can store and filter information. Maybe intelligence is an "emergent" property arising from this complexity. Or, we can posit 2) that identity and consciousness arise by being inherently capable of acting that way. In this approach prespirit intelligence might be described better by the word "mind" than matter because it bears no resemblance to matter and how matter behaves.

Approach B: Let's take the approach that our prespirit intelligence does not have individual identity and consciousness. The question is how could the intelligent matter acquire identity and consciousness. We could posit that our prespirit intelligence is complex and organized into the infinite past, but I view that as an unnecessary and logically it is better to say that if something extends into the infinite past it is "simple" (simple here meaning that it is indivisible and without constituent parts). As I argue in the previous post, this is only possible if the prespirit intelligence interacts with its environment in a way that cannot be described by classical/Newtonian mechanics.

Looking at these approaches in relation to this thread. Scenerio A seems unlikely to me as it begs the question, What has this self aware intelligence been doing for eternity up until it got sent into the game? And, it still doesn't present a theory as to how intelligences gain unique personalities.

Approach B is IMO more likely as it brings intelligences out of the all and isolates them temporarily in matter/mass based vehicles. My theory tho in relation to this thread is; Like the broken pieces of a holographic plate, every piece contains the whole picture. Like the DNA of the cell, every cell contains all the information of the whole. If the sea of intelligence did have substance, I would liken it unto elementary particles....A sea of electrons. David Bohm in his Holographic theory puts forth that all electrons are one electron, viewed from different angles.

Point being, when a piece of awareness is seemingly/apparently split off and put into temporary isolation in a body, it is identical to every other. It only develops personality characteristics afterward via nurture.

The question of *uniqueness* of souls is a perplexing one. Here we are in this sea of diversity, obviously we are all unique separate and special....right? Locating the genesis of what makes souls unique though isn't all that easy.

The conundrum I see is trying to attach the temporal to the eternal. Taking an eternal intelligence/awareness, attaching to it a minimal or zero I/Q, running it through an obstacle course until it reaches a perfect I/Q....all knowledge. How can an eternal awareness have an I/Q of zero?

I personally think that knowledge and awareness are two different things. Knowledge = reasoning, threads of logic. Awareness = understanding. Knowledge, reasoning, threads of logic are things of substance and come with the mechanical workings of the body. Spirit body and physical body. Awareness is immeasurable.
