Nothing particularly new. The Church has been scooping up farmland for years in its pursuit of mammon.

The Church is following the example of Joseph, knowing, through revelation, what will happen, so we can be providers in coming days... Genesis 47:20 "And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s." 🤷 (I admire your pessimism though.) 1

blackstrap Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 So a corporate land owner sold a bunch of land to another corporate land owner. The small family farm is disappearing for several reasons. 1. The cost of machinery is very high. 2. Farms must be bigger to be viable and land is expensive. 3. the younger generation is not interested in farming. I suppose the seller could have waited for an offer from Bill Gates or the Chinese as that would have been non-controversial . 1
