blackstrap Posted October 10 Share Posted October 10 So a corporate land owner sold a bunch of land to another corporate land owner. The small family farm is disappearing for several reasons. 1. The cost of machinery is very high. 2. Farms must be bigger to be viable and land is expensive. 3. the younger generation is not interested in farming. I suppose the seller could have waited for an offer from Bill Gates or the Chinese as that would have been non-controversial . 1 Link to comment
