Korihor: The Original Ancient Astronaut Theorist??

👽 Hopefully this can add little levity to our discussions:

I admit it I have watched "Ancient Aliens". I like it for the ideas of higher tech. being around anciently, as I consider myself a "Celestial Technologist" (a term I totally made up)- meaning, I believe when we get to the "other side" we will see a lot of what we will only be able to describe as tech. I believe here on earth we are merely acquiring technologies from higher realms (see: Book of Enoch).

So ... a quote that stuck with me from the show was Giorgio T. basically saying, " Our creators are coming back they just aren't the mythological gods of ancient religions."

As I was reading the Book of Mormon a couple years ago while I read the account of Korihor, his explanation for him being deceived struck me. He said:

" 53 But behold, the devil hath deceived me; for he appeared unto me in the form of an angel, and said unto me: Go and reclaim this people, for they have all gone astray after an unknown God. And he said unto me: There is no God; yea, and he taught me that which I should say. And I have taught his words; and I taught them because they were pleasing unto the carnal mind; and I taught them, even until I had much success, insomuch that I verily believed that they were true;...(Alma 20)

I thought, "An obviously advanced being appearing and saying there is no God... that sounds like the premise of AAT!"
