I sort of have as I watched the original Professor T, which is in Flemish. I hear it is a dialect of Dutch. Does the count? Yes it does. 9 hours ago, Calm said: Is it too different from the version you think of or pretty close? It's pretty close. 😉 9 hours ago, Calm said: I enjoyed it a lot, which would have included how it sounded. Unfortunately I am not subscribed to the service I watched it on now, so can’t refresh my memory. It did take some getting used to iirc. Yeah i can understand that.

It feels like family came from there, even if not my ancestors. Aaaawh that's so sweet. 🥰 9 hours ago, Calm said: But Korea also has a lot of good mysteries and fantasy dramas. I love watching fantasies based on other mythology than the ones I am very familiar with, like Norse and Greek. It is also fun to look for patterns, tropes in different shows and then to check if I am right if it’s a culture thing. Really? Do you also like Manga btw. My sister was always crazy about that stuff. 9 hours ago, Calm said: I hardly ever watch American shows anymore, they feel too much the same or trying too hard, too angsty. I will hook into British/Australian TV about once a year and get caught up on their new programs. How funny. I must say i love the American reality shows though. I find it funny how the people act on those shows. Btw! Last year i had an American reality star on the phone! In that time i was in still living with my bf in the Netherlands (not for long though, short after i had my break up💔) but that was so cool. I was talking with Ashley from Hardcorepawn. They had a huge hit in 2013. It was so funny....in those shows Ashley always acted like a .....well...bitchy we would say. But on the phone she was sooo nice and polite to me. The contrast...oh my oh my. She is not in the show anymore unfortunatly. Edited August 25, 2023 by Dario_M 1

I do, but haven’t read a lot as they would get expensive buying a whole series and its related stories (once I start a collection I have to the whole thing, took me 35 years to complete my Agatha Christie collection of 80 mysteries and 53 years to complete my Winne the Pooh book collection (had to be the same hardback editions I got when I was 8 years old, one was a present and the other the first book I ever bought for myself…on a field trip to the Museum of Natural History in Chicago, it was in their gift store, I had to choose between 3 books as I only had enough for one, always felt sad the two were missing the other two siblings…I love eBay, so many book families completed and favorite books as a child found). Where we lived didn’t have manga in the library yet and my daughter, the person who owned the manga, had withdrawn from social life due to her high anxieties, so she wasn’t able to trade with friends (and then have me snitch them before she gave them back). I used to watch a lot of anime before the video and dialogue quality of live acting productions went up. I don’t like reading manga online for some reason. Harder to read all the different size text perhaps? 1

And after one time reading the whole storie, you know the storie. 9 hours ago, Calm said: (had to be the same hardback editions I got when I was 8 years old, one was a present and the other the first book I ever bought for myself…on a field trip to the Museum of Natural History in Chicago, How interesting. Is that museum all about the beautiful nature you guys have in the country?? I find that you guys have the most breathtaking nature of the whole world if i may honest. And Canada as well. Europe can't compete with your kind of nature. 9 hours ago, Calm said: it was in their gift store, I had to choose between 3 books as I only had enough for one, always felt sad the two were missing the other two siblings…I love eBay, so many book families completed and favorite books as a child found).
