The Church has announced a donation of $8.7 million to assist with the purchase of biomedical equipment, mobile blood donation centers and programs to assist those with cancer or sickle cell disease.

Up a couple of million from last year.

I did not know this was such a big thing though I remembered BYU had tons of blood drives when I was there.  Makes me proud.  It is not something I tend to pay attention to as I can’t contribute (I kind of doubt they want my blood anyway, lol), but now I am thinking about it, our stake has a blood drive at least once a year and possibly twice.

I don't understand why Portugal doesn't have these kind of charities here in our church. Portugues people are kinda selvish if you ask me. At least that's my opinion.
