SteelMagnoliainTexas Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 I recently been going out by myself or I have been and been "rebuked" by people from the church because I was going out by myself. So must I always *be* with someone when I go out? Well in order to go out with certain groups you have to totally agree wholeheartedly with everything they do or risk going out by yourself. Did the Lord forbid witnessing by yourself?

Did the Lord forbid witnessing by yourself? I'd love to know what you are witnessing of, it's not been clear. I'm not active in any church/religion, so I'm very curious what you have to say.
manol Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 (edited) It sounds like you have run into trouble when going out by yourself, so why not try going out with a companion and see how it goes? If what you've been doing isn't working, try something else, especially if it's something that is known to have worked well. When I was a full-time missionary sometimes one of us would "connect" with someone we met better than the other. And if we got into a bad situation, we ALWAYS had a witness and (if necessary) "backup". There is wisdom in Jesus sending out his disciples two-by-two, and that wisdom hasn't expired. God said he has scattered the Jews and driven them into every area and they would literally become like "the dust upon the Earth" and they would be like dry bones....so long have we have been dead and dried up, yet He our mighty God and creator will cause us to live again (Israel) and he will cause us to return to the land he has promised to give Israel....and there shall we dwell again as before.

But never the less I've found a church now that is think more like what I was looking for, but they only go out twice a month. In order to get the results I want and need I need to go out more. But thanks. I will try that too. 1
