If there was birth/death and evolution going on, how was it different than the Earth after the fall? I don’t believe it was the whole earth, as elsewhere it frames the Garden as surrounded by the less pleasant world. Will add more thought later. But yes. I've explained that several times now. The "paradisaical creation" is a stage in God's plan, but where that was and how long ago it was and the scope of it has not been explained to us.
