I guess we need to accept the fact that Jesus is a Non Gendered/A-Sexual/ Androgynous/Hermaphrodite. On second thought I don't believe so.

OKay so where do we go now ?, Gender perhaps ?, is Gods Body Male ?.

Last I checked, Jesus Christ was definitely male.

Really ?, thats funny not long ago It was presented to we LDS that Jesus Christ thou having a male body, was not really male in the spirital realm. I want to say that it was shared to us by our Catholic critic Johnny [i may be wrong however ]. When did you last check that he was male ?.

Jesus Christ as a human being who walked among us was definitely male.

You can distinguish that from the rest of the nature of God, and God's gender, in the following passage from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

238 Many religions invoke God as "Father". The deity is often considered the "father of gods and of men". In Israel, God is called "Father" inasmuch as he is Creator of the world.59 Even more, God is Father because of the covenant and the gift of the law to Israel, "his first-born son". God is also called the Father of the king of Israel. Most especially he is "the Father of the poor", of the orphaned and the widowed, who are under his loving protection.

239 By calling God "Father", the language of faith indicates two main things: that God is the first origin of everything and transcendent authority; and that he is at the same time goodness and loving care for all his children. God's parental tenderness can also be expressed by the image of motherhood, which emphasizes God's immanence, the intimacy between Creator and creature. The language of faith thus draws on the human experience of parents, who are in a way the first representatives of God for man. But this experience also tells us that human parents are fallible and can disfigure the face of fatherhood and motherhood. We ought therefore to recall that God transcends the human distinction between the sexes. He is neither man nor woman: he is God. He also transcends human fatherhood and motherhood, although he is their origin and standard: no one is father as God is Father.--Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraphs 238, 239

Yeah here is the thread...

Here are some Catholic thoughts:

- In no way is God in man's image. He is neither man nor woman. God is pure spirit in which there is no place for the difference between the sexes. (CCC370).

- Christ's Ascension marks the definitive entrance of Jesus' humanity into God's heavenly domain, whence he will come again (cf. Acts 1:11); this humanity in the meantime hides him from the eyes of men (cf. Col 3:3) (CCC665).

- Henceforth Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father: "By 'the Father's right hand' we understand the glory and honour of divinity, where he who exists as Son of God before all ages, indeed as God, of one being with the Father, is seated bodily after he became incarnate and his flesh was glorified." [st. John Damascene, Defide orth. 4, 2: PG 94, 1104C] (CCC663).

Okay, the Father has no bodily coporeal existence [as with the Holy Ghost], yet has the SON who has a Bodily Corporeal Existence sits in honor next to GOD'S honor and divinity seated as the same being [substance] as the Father that has no shape/form ect... . HUH ?.

Thanks Zakuska,  we await ava's reaction.

Why does everyone keep calling me "Ava?"

It's "ave", not "Ava."

Ava was a Gardner.

Perhaps it's the resemblance. :P

When ever there was a son without a father?

You see God and man are the same species.

Hey, Zakuska.

At the top of that pyramid, who's the chief God of all Gods?

32 According to that which was ordained in the midst of the Council of the Eternal God

PD1: I must say you have defended yourself very well and expressed your thoughts incredibly on this message board. I've learned much about Mormonism from this one thread and appreciate what you've done to keep the topic on target. Very well done!
