For once in 7 years, life is good.

Dawned on me today, for once in 7 years life is good.  I'm not having to worry about being on the street, scum people trying to screw me over, my father hounding me out of spite for taking out a temp restraining order and fleeing the state after a violent encounter that would have killed mom if I had not stood in the way and taken a face full of bear mace.  Funny, even some of the scum people I knew are actually about to get some royal payback via bad karma.  I can honestly say i'm not thrilled/happy over it, no point, all I have to say is it's funny how things work out.  Have a shot at going back to school and starting a new career thats a lot more stable considering how shaky white collar is nowadays.  Sad, took my fathers death to make a lot of it stop, I have friends who were in the same boat.  Finally, after 2 surgeries (one that could have ended badly) rehab and getting some people I know up north to step in and put a stop to some of the scum trying to ruin me I can say it's more or less over.  Life can be unbelievably cruel, but wow when karma does bite it bites, hard.  It's satisfying when life serves justice for you, when it does it's amazingly efficient.  I can finally move forward without having to look over my shoulder every month or so.
