Utah always gets ranked high when you measure based on 1950s Americana ideals. When it's measured on things like mental health--it tends to be low.

No one item alone in any state should raise or sink ranking on that list. The article says: 77 metrics across eight categories. Those categories include health care, education, economy, infrastructure, crime and fiscal stability One or two out of the 77 isn't likely to raise or lower a state's overall ranking.

I read that story yesterday, Utah is a very nice state!
