notHagoth7 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) Some in another thread thought it incredulous that any inside job would destroy American buildings and planes. Fomenting war. It is the work of the dark side, and has always been such. Publishing Peace is our primary mission. Simply consider...carefully..what Vizzini said about starting a war. And consider how much of the Nephite record is committed to the evil of war...and how it repeatedly reminds/warns us of Gadianton's role in the downfall of *that* Nephite nation. And then, somehow many Mormons are incredulous that the Nephite warnings would ever be something we should actually take to heart?! As if the ancient Nephite prophets took pains to record and preserve such things for no divinely-mandated reason? As if they were merely wasting their time and ours? There is a distinct difference between believing in the idea of the Book of Mormon and actually trusting/living it. Hearts. Children. Promises. Turned. Else.... Please wake up. notHagoth7 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) Why would the Gospels even mention *rumors* of war...if it didn't offer a meaningful milestone...a clear warning flare? Edited February 25, 2017 by notHagoth7
notHagoth7 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 And unmasking such manipulative rumors lengthens our stride toward peace. An informed citizenry...without it, a democratic republic falters. When you have been warned, warn your neighbor. You*have* hereby been warned. Again.

There is a distinct difference between believing in the idea of the Book of Mormon and actually trusting/living it. Hearts. Children. Promises. Turned. Else.... Please wake up. 66 And it shall be called the New Jerusalem, a land of peace, a city of refuge, a place of safety for the saints of the Most High God; 67 And the glory of the Lord shall be there, and the terrorof the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will not come unto it, and it shall be called Zion. 68 And it shall come to pass among the wicked, that every man that will not take his sword against his neighbor must needs flee unto Zion for safety. 69 And there shall be gathered unto it out of every nationunder heaven; and it shall be the only people that shall not be at war one with another. (D&C 45) By very nature, one of the most essential elements of successfully prosecuted warfare is the utilization of the tactic of deception. And in light of the many dire warnings found in the scriptures that unmask the unpleasant reality that deception is the primary modus operandi employed by the devil in his twisted quest to destroy the souls of men, it appears members of the Church have to be in a massive state of self-delusion if they ever feel inclined to mock and ridicule those individuals who draw attention to all these solemn scriptural warnings. The devil is most successful when he can convince the children of men he doesn't exist; but short of this, he surely must be just as satisfied when he succeeds in convincing those who should know better that he isn't as infinitely evil and totally rotten as he really is. And to imagine the devil isn't capable of infusing men with this same ruthless and deceptive spirit is terribly naive. Yet with this being said, I will declare I'm not easy prey to succumb to swallowing every conspiracy theory that comes down the pike. Nevertheless, I put no form of wickedness and deception past the devil and the human agents who follow him. Edited February 25, 2017 by Bobbieaware
PeterPear Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I like the verse in Moroni 9 where the airplane was flown into the tower of Sherizzah. Talk about a conspiracy! 😏

Talk about a conspiracy! 😏 Talking about conspiracies & Gadianton....even for those who wish to chuckle over the grave of dead Americans... As mentioned elsewhere, I was held in custody for 11 months, most of it in solitary confinement - after being told by a so-called coworker that I needed to spend some time in jail....because while working alongside him at the national training center for a federal agency that supposedly had oversight over that industry's safety, I dared to say that a local businessman deserved a legal reckoning after *personally* raking in over $20 million in a single year (and in the process blowing up 29 hard-working American miners) by having his lawyers repeatedly ignore *hundreds* of mining safety violations (many of them life-threatening violations). He was dubbed "the king of coal" in a major news piece. And unjust kings like him *will* see a reckoning. So if someone dares to speak a word against the beast, (in this case *a* beast), that beast (through his minions) lashes out and does whatever it can to silence you. Threatening you, your family. Threatening their loved ones. Hurting you, your innocent family. (Locking you in solitary for over 8 months...you become a beast/animal for a time.) Essentially doing a beast's best to ruin your career per Rev 13...and/or de-legitimize your testimony.... Here's an example of the pattern. And the "king of coal" that I dared breathe the truth about? Even though 29 people were blown up by his intentional recklessness, all the jury could pin on him was a guilty charge for conspiracy. I'll say that again: conspiracy. (Is three times a charm?) And he'll be emerging in a few months... Edited February 27, 2017 by notHagoth7

D&C 89:4 indicated a lot have died from conspiracies. I haven't read the entire thread if it's been answered, but what's your opinion of planes being allowed to fly into the buildings - in coordination with the buildings (allegedly) brought down by explosives? Seems far-fetched in my mind. But I'm open to your thoughts.

Bad enough, but it is a bit more understandable military people getting such bad tunnel vision as to think of this as an intelligent proposal. It also talks about the problem of keeping it secret. I think they underestimated that. 1
