I do love homemade bread--nothing quite like cutting a thick slice fresh out of the oven and then slathering on a good schmear of honey-butter.  (Mormon scones are a very close second.)  :-)

Yeah, we had a senior couple at the Institute building when I was in college and she baked bread a few times a week. It was delicious plain or with butter. I asked her to marry me.
