HOLY CATHOLIC Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Since GODHEAD is a synonym for GOD, BEING,SUBSTANCE, and ESSENCE in the TRINITY vernacular , Trinitarians would have no problem with using GODHEAD .COL 2:9 just like the Bible teaches a man and woman become ONE FLESH when married, two separate and distinct persons yet ONE FLESH.. In the same way God the Father, Jesus and the Spirit are separate and distinct yet ONE GOD , GODHEAD, SUBSTANCE, BEING or ESSENCE.. always one yet plural persons

If that's what you're arguing the scriptures teach then most Mormons would agree. 2
HOLY CATHOLIC Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I thought Mormons teach THREE gods in the GODHEAD not ONE [ Mark 12:28-29 ] Per previous warning, poster removed from thread.
Antoni Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I was dismayed to recently discover that the missionaries here don't carry a Bible with them, don't quote from the Bible, and don't use the Bible at all when teaching. This is a very bad thing in my view.Although the Book of Mormon is great etc, the Bible is just breathtaking in my view. When I start reading the gospels I just can't put the book down!HI, our ward missionaries (I'm in UK too Alan) DO carry bibles and frequently use it in missionary work. The smaller pocket size bibles that have recently been released have made this easier and the missionaries like having them at hand for when they have questions or meet someone that wants to see "where does it say thatin the Bible?" Light, Love and Peace Antoni

LDS Believe and Teach/Testify of The Real Godhead/Trinity = from my Lights a Anchient/Monarch/Eastern/Economic/Social Godhead/Trinity. Holy Catholic could have learned some valuable lessons in communication and dialogue from our past Catholic poster David Waltz. David Waltz would have schooled holy catholic.
