It's true, but this is old news.  The hypothesis is that the descendants of this person's tribe later met with and merged with tribes of native Siberian people and some of their descendants eventually emigrated across Beringia.  Over thousands of years, the U haplotypes were not as successful in reproducing and eventually disappeared from their lineages, but the autosomal dna maintain remnants of these ancient ancestors.

It is interesting, but it's 24,000 years old, not relevant to the Book of Mormon, but at least it shows that science keeps progressing, it shows that science still doesn't know everything about ancient America.

ah, but did you watch the video? They actually contend that this Galelean DNA came to the Americas ~2000 years ago. I'd like to see their evidence.

Nobody said it was related to the Book of Mormon.  It is, however, interesting.
