CV75 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Are we supposed to believe that a child that dies after a few days of life, who was born addicted to drugs through no fault of its own, will suffer those addictions in the next life?I don't think so since they are "alive in Christ." I even think that accountable people that die will be freed of the spiritual encumbrances that were forced upon them while they were yet "alive in Christ" and which later disadvantaged them with regards to the proper use of their agency, if they were unable in the Lord's judgement to overcome them in this life. I think those addicts that will have more trouble in the Spirit World are those who became unrepentant addicts through their own volition and rejection of the light the Lord gave gave them in mortality. Naturally, they suffer for their own unrepented sins just like anyone else. 1
