Funny but La sigh.

I am glad you got a chuckle out of it, and I agree about it being le sigh (or le purr). The article says the author isn't mentioned, but I am guessing it is Ted Nuget. It has his Conservative bias and animal-slaying flare.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

I don't find Mr. Nugent has much of anything to admire about. He had all the opportunity in the world to kill people, he'd never met, in a far away land. He choose to dodge the opportunity. Raising animals to eat them is fine. Raising them in captivity just for the "Thrill of the hunt" is something else entirely.

I don't see any problem with that as long as he uses the meat on the animal.

Now-a-days the only hunting I do is in the grocery store. I'm not opposed to hunting per say. Given the choice between killing a deer(or other animal) or not feeding my family. Bye Bye Bambi. But raising the animal in captivity just to make hunting it down more fun. Doesn't sound like much of a sport to me. Even if we do eat the meat.

Don't go to fishing ponds or hunting preserves, then.  They are in the thousands.

So it come's down to wether you think it would be much of a sport. I mean I think I agree with you it is not something I would do but morally I see nothing wrong with it.

I don't.

I largly avoid those because the fish doesn't taste as good. But for the kids it is much easier.
