I baptized exactly one man (and his wife joined, too). 41 years later, he (and they) are still active. He's served in the branch presidency (as a priest, no less), the stake presidency, and for a time in the Church Education System was the head of LDS church education in southern Germany. And today he is the bishop of his ward.I say this not to boast, but in wonder! I baptized but one man, but my little bit of service multiplied into decades of faithful and effective service. Elder Gillespie may not be checking this thread anytime soon, but my hope for him is that he finds his little bit of service to be likewise multiplied. 2
