halconero
I've never been a fan of power point presentations...but sometimes the prof calls for them. One question I had for those well versed in said program is, is there a way I can view my notes on screen while the rest of the class does not? I'm not the most technologically versed so if this is possible please let me know! Link to comment

I too detest PPP, they hardly ever work and I just think when it's all not connected or fuzzy or not loading or what have you, what is the point and where is the power?!isn't there a Tech dept. help out? my University had a thing for that and sent out people to help Profs. and stuff Link to comment
escott3564
When you view the slide show, you are viewing it full screen, so there isn't a way to view your notes while you are running the actual show. You can, however print out the Notes Page, and have that available while you narrorate. One thing that is kind of cool about PowerPoint is that if you print out the handouts option for your audience, there is a space for them to take notes right next to each slide. In order to do that, go to File--Print--Under Slides, select 3 slides Handouts (3 slides per page).Hope this helps! Good luck with your presentation! Link to comment
canard78
Second to escott... the answer is no.Notes can only be viewed when printed out (or if you are in edit mode and don't go full screen). You might be able to go to 'two screens' and send one part to the project and another part to your laptop. But I'm not sure how to do that. And I don't think it's even possible with PPT in present mode. Link to comment
TAO
I haven't tested this out, but Google says there is something called 'Show Presenter View' which does this. It's at "Slide Show > Set up Show > Show Presenter View".http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/tips_view_notes_slideshow.htmlThen again, I have not tested this, so yeah. =p Link to comment
