What I thought was most disgusting was to read some of the reader comments on the Salt Lake Tribune website, and other places around the web. No words of consolation or sympathy, only malice. Apparently just about anything is fair-game if it takes a shot at the Church, or promotes an anti-Mormon agenda. Comments like "What ever happened to the laying on of hands"? and "how can the Church pay for a multi billion dollar mall, but can't afford professional janitors"? and blah blah blah...
