Learn Kabbalah

[Damien the Leper]

I came across the site while researching religious mysticism.

I was wondering if anyone here was familiar with Jay Michaelson and his work.

Link?

Nevermind, found it. http://www.learnkabbalah.com/books_for_beginners/ Good bibliography.

Do you recommend further reading of him?

Why is Kabbalah so intriguing, though? Is there some kind of value to it?

The only thing I remember about it is that Madonna made some sort of deal over learning about it.

I think Madonna dealt with a popularized version.

I don't know yet. I'm trying to find some of his articles mentioned in the "about" section.

Boaz Huss has some very good articles on that, like "All You Need is LAV."

Good stuff. It'll go well with a post I have been planning for a while.

I picked Michaelson's book "God vs Gay?" at Barnes & Noble. I'm looking forward to reading it.
