ttribe Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 For someone like me, who has lost two family members to pancreatic cancer, this story is a potential source of great hope. The biggest issue with the 95% 5-year mortality rate on this cancer is there is no such thing as an early detection device. Perhaps this will change everything.
Stargazer Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Why is this site called "Crooks and Liars"?Non-apropros to the topic here, but... Anyway, really neat find, TSS!!
thesometimesaint Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 It's kinda like the TV NEWS. Mostly what bad is happening in the world, but the occasional feel good story does make it through. C&L is geared towards the political, mostly what our politicians are doing TO instead of FOR us, but they bring up all types of interesting and sometimes amazing things. I keep up with the bad stuff so I know when to run. To play off of a BY quote "Good news is good news no matter where we find it".Thought you'd like it.
