halconero Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I just got a new oil vial, very cool, all made out of olive tree wood...the only problem? The glass vial in it has a top that is way too small to easily get oil into.Solutions?
DavidB Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 A straw, just place the straw in oil, cover the top of the straw with finger, move straw to vial, release finger.
Duncan Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) I have the same kind of thing given me by my Mission President when I got released. Has my mission name on it as well. Solution? yeah a straw or just wipe of the excess oilone of the good things about having it is you can say, this was the bullet I took in the Lord's service!! Edited December 11, 2012 by Duncan
thesometimesaint Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) A baster with an injection needle should work just fine. Edited December 11, 2012 by thesometimesaint
canard78 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I have a standard silver one. Going through security check at an airport the end was poking out the wallet. The guy on security nearly freaked as he thought it was a bullet slipping out...
Saints Alive Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 The plastic oil vials the church distribution sells have a removable tip that works well for putting oil in the smaller keychain containers. I usually consecrate the oil in the plastic vial and then pour it into my keychain vial.
