CA Steve Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 We have a Book of Mormon in which all the chapters start with The Book of ... We also have The Book of Commandments (now D&C), The Book of Abraham, and The Book of Moses. We keep books of remembrances. We have references to The Book of the Law of the Lord in Wilford Woodruff's journal and to The Book of Joseph on the 2nd scroll. While I cannot recall where I believe I have read about unwritten but planned books called The Book of David Whitmer and The Book of Sidney Rigdon. Can anyone explain more where this tradition originated and if it has any significance beyond simple labels? Thanks

Kenngo1969 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 If someone cannonized my journal the later volumes would have to be titled "The DVD of..." or "The Thumb drive of..."I sincerely hope no one "cannonizes" your journals! After all, if s/he did that, there wouldn't be anything left of them for posterity! (Now canonizing, them, on the other hand, that's a whole different thang! )Sorry. Couldn't resist. Carry on. 1
