"Mass Murder Of Christians Coming Soon..."

Christians killing other Christians is still the biggest threat.

For religious reasons? I'd like to see the evidence for that. :)

Thanks.

Ah, but did your husband give you permission to disagree? ;)

Pahoran

LoL, Yes, he did...and I asked my Bishop and he said it was okay to disagree as well. :)

I don't know about killing with the claim of it being holy. But I do know, depending on the denomination, they can argue pretty well as to who is more doctrinally correct.

A day is coming shortly in which many people who reject God will all say that the world would be better off if the religious were not here. A leader will come who will share this idea and will provide the power to carry out mass murder for the good of all. In the name of peace many will die. If you are alive in this day I want you to remember what I have said. Then join the ranks of those who will be killed in the name of Jesus even if you don't believe. It will still count for you.

I was away and lost track of this thread.

I wasn't saying that Christians aren't persecuted. I was interested in Franktalk's specific claim that it would be atheists would be murdering Christians. As far as I can tell, most contemporary examples of Christian murder are from other religions.

I am glad you brought this up. In the end times those who worship the beast do the killing. I would suspect that the anti-Christ who calls himself god forms a religion on earth. One that lasts three and one half years. But kills billions of people. I think even atheist are killed, anyone who does not worship the beast. Good point.

I will look up what I said. But the main point is that those who are weak in faith or have no faith will be drawn to worship the beast. Now is this a worship of power or an actual worship of a god. I don't know. But it is clear that those who worship the beast do the killing.

I don't think so. It seems to relate directly to D&C 45: 68 http://lds.org/scrip...=Sword+neighbor

Everything prophesied for the "last days" has happened before. Christians were executed and chased from city to city in the Roman Empire, and in America. Families killing family members - always happened in wars and in peace time. Wars, rumours of wars, earthquakes, everything. It's all happened before and there has been plenty more happen. I don't like it when people state things have never been so bad and it's all a sign of the times. That's a lie. Cannibalism, human sacrifice, child sacrifice, slavery, serfdom, cruel punishments, totalitarianism, witch hunts, plague, life expectancy of 30. It's been plenty worse in the past. Pedophilia has always been around, people just didn't believe kids before. Now at least we do, and do something about it.

It seems there are a lot of members that get off on seeing riots and mayhem on the news, believing it's the baddest it has ever been in human history, and loving it because they believe it signals Christ's return. I find that kinda sad and sick.

As the restrainer leaves things will get real bad. So bad that all who think of this world being bad will look to these days as the good old days. The world has not witnessed Biblical scale events. In 2 Peter we are told that God is holding this world in a kind of stasis until the day of fire. So we are fooled into looking around us and seeing limits on everything. The restrainer restrains and the world is held in stasis.

Satan is currently the god of this world by title and deed. God's Kingdom is in heaven and we can become the body of Christ while still on the earth but that means we separate out of this world. I look to see the end times, not because I enjoy the suffering of the world but because the rule of Christ on earth happens after the tribulation.
