why me Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/mormons-on-broadway-could-bring-them-to-the-white-house/2011/03/30/AF6bfFIC_story.htmlI think that the article is wonderful. Mormons should be pleased about who they are and their influence in a person's heart, at least in the reviewer's heart.
dirtius maximus Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 kind of a said state of affairs when polls put LDS just above atheist and homosexuals as someone acceptable for the US Presidency. I can't say that much has been since then to change the perception. Perhaps more people in our daily lives need to know we are LDS/Mormon so that others can know that there isn't much difference between us as a person and some other religion.
mfbukowski Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Kathleen Flake went to BYU, and is likely LDS.Maybe that's why the article was "great".That doesn't exactly make it an endorsement of the LDS by the Washington Post.
