inquiringmind Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Hi,Does anyone know how to navigate the FAIR Mormon Apologetics website? There's a question that's bothering me that I believe is answered somewhere on that site (but I can't find the page I'm looking for.)It concerns the idea that anything with a beginning has to have an end.The question (which I believe someone else already asked, and which I believe was answered) concerns whether our glorification, exaltation, or godhood will have to have an end.I've tried searching under keywords like "end," "beginning," etc., but can't find the Q&A I'm looking for.Can anyone help?
Kate Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) You just put in your key words at the top right search Fair box and hit enter.I'm not sure where you are getting the concept that these things have an end. They don't. It is called "Eternal Life" for a reason. Edited February 13, 2011 by Kate
Calm Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) Have just glanced at this presentation, believe it's on a related topic but not your question. Am only posting it as information that you might be interested in. Am still working on refining search terms to pinpoint your topic. I tend to use google site search as it seems to pick up more generally depending on how good a site's search engine is. IIRC, FAIR is in the process of doing a upgrade on the website in many areas, if so, the best way to find the specific topic may be to email and ask. Not only will you get anything that's on the website, but possibly a lot that isn't as some members are just astonishing at what they have available in their resources. And don't be shy about sending in questions, gives the list something to discuss besides nitpicking about how many angels do dance on the head of a pin or something else, lol. Calm Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) This seems more in line with your topic: http://www.fairlds.o...nt_Beliefs.htmlThose two articles are all I came using the search terms: site:fairlds.org beginning end -"from the beginning" -"from the end" -"from the beginning to end" -"from the beginning to the end" -"from beginning to end"Using the fair wiki as the site comes up with one more:http://en.fairmormon.org/Plan_of_salvation/Premortal_existence Edited February 13, 2011 by calmoriah
inquiringmind Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 Thank you, but my question had more to do with the change in our existence that begins in the furure, than with anything in the past.My problem is that the statement that "anything with a beginning must have an end" would seem to imply that that future change is temporary. The question is addressed somewhere on the FAIR site (but I can't find it either, and I thank you for looking.)P.S. WalkerW seemed to suggest an answer on another thread (Celestial, Terrestrial, and Telestial), that I think came close to what I was looking for.
