Since this is just a repeat from someone who has asked and been answered in the past, he has demonstrated he is not here for knowledge or to actually engage other posters since he just keeps repeating the same thing, but here to preach the falseness that is LDS theology.

That does not mean it's right to insult him, OTOH mild teasing is a better response imo than getting offended, also he's demonstrated he has a sense of humour with past responses and his choice of name and most here are just responding at that same level imo.

That's from, Isaiah 43:10. Why is it that Mormons believe there are other gods when God said that there was never a god before Him and there won't be one after Him either?

Also part of Isaiah 44:6 says "I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God."

What are Mormons thoughts on those?

I agree. I believe that the mocking of new, non-LDS visitors reflects poorly on LDS apologetics and us as members of the Church. It makes us no better than the apologetics message board such as CARM.

I thought I treated him fair enough... whether he entertains rational discourse and is willing to understand rather than attack, I could have seen it as a fruitful discussion. I however was disappointed by his response to my original question in which I asked him point blank "how informed he was on the current scholarship concerning multiple deities mentioned in the bible." I was not impressed with his response and as such made a simple suggestion for him to gain a better understanding of the information contained therein.

Now of course in our Earthly domains, any being above us in a higher sphere could be called 'a god'. But often these other gods are the beney elohim, the sons of El, the highest. Adam at the time of the Fall, then gaining the knowledge of good and evil became similar to those of a higher tier of being--- the beney eloim. But Jesus Christ of the highest tier is the only begotten son of God.

Hey Hick so what would you call a being who gets prompted to a higher sphere?
