USU78 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 A Jewish grandmother is watching her grandchild playing on the beach when a huge wave comes and takes him out to sea. She pleads, "please God, save my only grandson. I beg of you, bring him back." And a big wave comes and washes the boy back onto the beach, good as new. She looks up to heaven and says: "He had a hat!"
Robert F. Smith Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 That reminds me of the one about the rich Jewish guy who bought a new Masserati. He took it to his rabbi, a reform rabbi, and asked for a beraka on the new car.The rabbi looked at the new car and congratulated him on his purchase, but then asked him:"What's a beraka."The rich guy said "Never mind," and went to an Orthodox rabbi, and requested a beraka on his new Masserti. The rabbi said, of course, "no problem, I can do a beraka, but what is a Masserati?"
