And to make the measurement "concrete" (no pun intended) the idea of using 1/365th of the side of the Great Pyramid can be seen as a brilliant idea.

If one had to pick a standard for measurement to pass onto the ages, one could definitely have done worse.

The pyramid was a manmade object, it was not always there
