Apparently, you have only looked into this enough to make yourself look uneducated. They were "sealed". What that actually entailed is up for debate. How is it that a man that got his wife pregnant every time he came within 6 ft. of her didn't manage to father a single child with all the many women he was supposedly bedding? Make that make sense.

To me to "put something on the shelf" implies having doubts or questions- that is not what I am doing. I don't question certain "Pioneer Era" teachings- I just think that perhaps the Church has been a little excessive in marginalizing them- but I sustain the keys, keep my mouth shut, and imperfectly do my duty "with a heart full of song".

I believe Doctrine and Covenants 132 is very plain- in an attempt to be as loyal as possible, I have just learned to leave it alone.

I think the revelation given to Wilford Woodruff, and printed in European versions of the Doctrine and Covenants, would be more of an issue had not Pres. Woodruff seemingly contradicted himself with a press release just a short time later. It's kind of funny the Church thought they could quietly add this 🤞🏻ing it wouldn't blow up.

And this particular book may be fine, but promoting her name and creating the possibility that people further seek her out is, in my opinion, irresponsible.

I believe it the Lord addressing Pres. Taylor as "son"- not Pres. Taylor addressing either his son or John Woolley.

I understand Ms. Hanks is a hero to several here- but the fact that she advocates things contrary to Church doctrine and principles should make Deseret Book think twice before promoting her.
