That’s a wonderful remembrance:) I always had the feeling that he loved everyone, like a father figure to everyone, steady and unwavering always. Always wanting the best for everyone. A great man and prophet.

Yes, let’s remember the good he did and what an inspiration he was. This thread turned sour really fast:(

Sorry, I wasn’t trying to quote you. I don’t know how to delete it. -
I don’t get invited to many weddings. Not sure what that says about me, lol. When I have been invited, I’ve selected from the registry. I figure I can’t go wrong with something they picked for themselves:)

Tbh, I can’t figure out if you are for or against the church.

Thank you. She tried to help him but finally had to save herself and divorce him. She is married to a wonderful man now:) I’m sorry about your brother. That must be so hard.

Our ex son-in-law stole money, computers, tools, and we think some of my coins. Pretty sure he sold things cheap, just to get enough for another hit. The cons I had were silver dimes with the silver being worth about 2000. I’m betting he sold them for $40 which seemed to be the going rate for a hit of meth at the time:(

Agreed! I have two cats and hairballs are not uncommon. Imagine that happening in a cafe. Yuk!

That would be fun but sounds like a lot of work, lol.

That is so sweet:) I collect American coins from late 1700s to early 1800s. My favorites are Draped Bust large cents. I gave all of my foreign coins to my great niece and my grandson.

I haven’t heard of it but I’ll look into it. You never know where that big idea will come from:)

Lol, we have been trying to come up with a line of cat-themed products we can sell online and at festivals. My husband has created a few things in his workshop (garage) with the 3D printer and etcher but nothing seems to be right for our first product. We even have a website ready to go. They make it look so easy on Shark Tank, lol.

I may have to try this:)

I’m always taking up new hobbies. I’ve tried my hand at panting, candle making, and creating jewelry. I took up coin collecting again (I collected coins when I was young) about five years ago and we go to coin shows regularly. I also buy and sell coins on EBay. I learned to swim in my late 40s. My husband and I are trying to start a cat business. Oh, I’m also learning Welsh online. My motto is it doesn’t matter how old you are. Just think about how old you’ll be if you don’t do it now:)

Must be nice to have it all figured out, smh.

My mom would put pineapple and brown sugar on top of slices of spam and bake them. I loved it. She was really good at making inexpensive protein tasty.

My son would have never earned Eagle without me pushing him all the way. In the end, he left his mission early because he didn’t believe what he was teaching, didn’t go back to byu where he had a scholarship, didn’t marry in the temple, and is full-fledged agnostic, however, I wouldn’t trade the time we spent together working on Eagle and I know he is a better man for it:) I wish the church had a good replacement for scouting. It was especially good for boys from part-member families and divorced families to have that male influence.

Don’t be so judgemental, lol. I wore a mask in my car as I was delivering goodies to the young women. I didn’t want to have to put it on and take it off at each house, but I needed to wear it when greeting people at the door.
