Yes, receiving the sacrament is purification when you receive it with the Spirit and a broken heart (meaning to me an open and willing to hear heart).

If healing baptisms or rebaptism to show renewed commitment to our faith and God provided something we could not receive through another form of blessing or were the most effective way, I do not doubt we would still do them. But it seems to me both are well covered by healing blessings (whether the ordinance performed by elders currently or prayers of faith) and the Sacrament, where if we are intent we are renewed as if we were baptized again.
