I Get to Sing in our ward's Christmas chorale

I've been asked to sing Silent Night at our Christmas chorale. I'm to sing it in German, just the first verse, a capella, then everyone else joins in, in English. It's in remembrance of the unofficial Christmas truce in 1914 during WW1 that started in one place along the trench line with a German soldier singing Silent Night. Imagine an American singing a German Christmas carol during a British church service!

I don't know why I'm posting this, other than I'd rather tell you about the marvel of Christ in Christmas, even at the front line, than head for General Discussions and debate anyone. I'm just not feeling any desire for contention at the moment.
