savedwheat Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one" (1 John 5.7). "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Cor. 3.14). It's not just the love of God the Father, but the grace of the Lord Jesus and the communion of the Spirit as one being.
bluebell Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Can I get a scriptural reference for them being one being? 1
halconero Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 It's okay. The first verse is a fraudulent addition to the Bible that's only about 500 years old, and the result of people pressuring Erasmus: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma_Johanneum 1
