It is religious people being forbidden to exercise their First Amendment rights (freedom of speech, freedom of the press, free exercise of religion, freedom of peacable assembly) and other constitutional rights, by government or private oppression merely for expressing their religious faith, endeavoring to participate in the political process, etc. CFR
