teddyaware Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 (edited) The individual conversations have gone a lot better with one close family member attending the baptism. Which we were shocked about but genuinely pleased they made that very tough decision. this person and their partner are making a real try to understand which has a been a tender mercy. Light, Love and Peace Very glad to hear this good news! Bet you didn't know the hubbub you would cause when you started this thread?!? Welcome to the Church my brother! ERayR Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Yes, I know what you believe. From the outside, it isn't a revelatory position but innovation that has nothing to do with the Bible. I don't say that just to be a jerk, but to point out the root problem. I think most LDS are aware of the difference of perspective and apply the eleventh Article of Faith: We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
