New Institute Year And Topics

I just got out of an institute class on the topic of the Priesthood and Priesthood keys. One thing that was very interesting about the class is that the teacher said that this years curriculum was new from Salt Lake, and was based on discussion among the leadership and YSA aged members of the Church on what they felt to be important.

In talking about the priesthood tonight we discussed sensitive areas such as Blacks and the Priesthood, and Women and the Priesthood. It was open, clear, with nothing hidden. There was even a video in which a black member who was around when the ban lifted said "let's have the history be open, clear, without hiding anything."

It was great to see the Church addressing this, and I believe it to be indicative of a new period in which the Church seeks to inform its members of the Church, the good, the bad, and the awkward.

I should like to see the video. Do you know if it is accessible on line?
