Stargazer Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Well, upon giving the matter much thought, I knew that viewing the video would be forbidden, haraam, or what ever. I was just curious, and that underlines to me the fact that I have the same weakness that Eve had. I am feeling rather contrite right now, and will think twice about just giving my curiousity free reign. That's an interesting thought, that viewing the video might be Haraam. I don't think so, actually. I will admit that I have not viewed any of these videos, but that is because I find the whole thing to be very repugnant. Not that the video is there, precisely, but that some wolf-in-sheep's-clothing of a member would do such a thing! It borders on what is in effect treason, after having covenanted with God that they would do no such thing. Most of the time, my investigations of Biblical matters helps to deepen my faith. In the matter of the temple video, when I spoke of it to a sister where I volunteer, she simply said to me, "Now you know that we do not sacrifice babies". Heh. Yeah. There will be some idiot who will say that the evil ordinances are done elsewhere. I'm wiser now, but wish I had waited to have my own experience in the Temple, though I fear I never will.

I have seen no evidence of evil in the church. I just keep doing what I do. Having come from a culture where polygamy is just part of it, I still believe it could be used if needed.
