That is how big our souls are made to be. So yes any marriage "here below" can turn into a soul-mate relationship as we concentrate on that "one and only" as if s/he were the most important person in the world to us. That is the ideal behind the concept of romantic love, which is probably the best "glue" for marriage that there is.... And what is your proof? Sealing relationships into the eternity's in love and unity is not somehow "not" being devoted to ones primary spouse.Joseph didn't practice Polygamy, he practiced the sealing ordinance. And even if he had, marriage is about love, even plural marriage, thus your swipe at Joseph is inappropriate and false.Is YOUR heart better than his? Reading his life, he was better than most of us. Thus, your claim is nothing but wild slander.

I think that for-ordained marriages/families did take place but may be the minority. Thoughts?

I have an issue because it takes making the choice away like it is some sort of destiny. But perhaps I am reading more into it all than needs to be. I think you may be right that perhaps it happened but it would be in the extreme minority. 1
