gkearney Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Geologists tell us that the geology of Australia is some of the oldest on earth. Given that fact it would mean that Australia was created first and all else followed.
Paddy Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Well, Australia is a special case, then. It is fitting, I suppose, since God created Australia using all His leftovers after the Creation. Or so I have heard, anyway. One of these days I will visit your country. I have long admired it from afar.Hey stargazerWhen you come out to Oz I'll take you to kakadu and you can go swimming in one of our lovely billabongs. I suspect it will be a life changing experience for you!!
Storm Rider Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I know they didnt where i was at and wikipedia lists this as the date. I remember thinking how very strange it felt but it was normal feeling after a couple months. Does anyone know how the change happened? Why did it not happen in gen conf too?PJust curious; these little exercises in reviewing history from today's perspective and then making judgment calls. Does it seem strange to you that Jesus did not come until the meridian of time also? Don't you think that was weird that everyone that ever lived before him did not have the blessing of knowing the Savior of the world and how salvation was even attainable? Doesn't it seem equally strange that the priesthood was so restricted to such few people on the face of the earth for so long? How long do you want this list to go on? I suspect we could go on for days should we review each culture throughout history. How about we put away these useless exercises and actually focus on that which bring us closer to God today? 1
