Since the LDS Church is at the pinnacle of all religions and specifically Christianity, if the LDS Church isn't true, then no religion is true and therefore God does not exist. I don't think you'd hear that from a non lds Christian, their relationship is with God not a church. BC I should probably mind my own business but I've seen way too many LDS turn athiest once they quit believing in the church. That tells me they didn't really have a relationship or to put it Evangelical style, they weren't truly born again.

This is not a rare thing. I remember the first time I heard of this, I was still very new in the Church. But the very head.. the top dog .. of one of the Lutheran Synods resigned because after studying the Bible closely he decided he did not believe in God any more.What you are mistaking for being 'born again' or 'having a relationship' is really having a low level of commitment to a particular denomination. But when you take the thing that they actually have faith in -- and destroy that in their minds, they do indeed change deeply.
