Freedom Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I recall once taking my kids to get a slurpee from 7-11. When we got to the counter I discovered that my bank card was not in my wallet. Embarrassed, I ran out to my car to search for it in vane. A young man (East Indian for any white christian Canadians who think immigrants are ruining our nation) drive by and tossed $20 at me to pay for the treat which only came to $4. This put a deep impression on my children and taught deep and lasting lesson in charity and compassion. As simple as the gesture was, and as trivial as my plight was, this man saved me and my children embarrassment and led to many acts of charity from us down the road.
