Public Apology To Pahoran And Mods

I just wanted to publically apologize to Pahoran for comments I made in the thread about gay parenting that were deemed to be "personal insults."

For the first time in 9 years of posting (and a total of almost 4,000 posts), I was banned from the topic and from further reading or posting in a thread. In those 9 years, I've consistently tried to post with understanding, genuineness, patience, and respect. The banishment was a little shocking, and rather humbling, to--and I've been thinking a lot about it over the past couple of days, and really feel pretty awful.

Pahoran, it was not my intention to belittle, demean, or insult, especially in your absence. I had intended to suggest a compassionate response to what I felt were some inflammatory posts. Compassion is theme which I believe we're all in need of--myself included, as is evidenced by a favorite quote of mine that I often use as my signature here at MDD:

Well said, Daniel. It's really difficult, sometimes, to maintain civility, with certain people, but it is always the right thing to do..and, honestly, I have never seen you behave uncivilly towards anyone.
